Okay, we give, we give

Sorry, sorry to take so long. So much happens. And then we are pooped.

The Jack Report:
Two bottom teeth and they hurt when he bites your finger (and he will).
Not crawling yet, but he is turning with virtual impunity. Front to back, back to front..he is adept.
When I put him on the ground, he assumes the correct position: on the knees, belly off the ground. Then he wobbles and bunny hops, but mostly still retrograding across the room. He's pretty quick with the turning in position though.
He's eating solid food and maybe, just maybe he's starting to have a preference for it over the formula.
He's starting to become tickelish (ah ha!)
He likes to be thrown up in the air and he is still facsinated by kitty.
The doctor says that we should really really start having him sleep away from us, since the longer we put it off, the more difficult it will be later on. We have a friend whose nine year old daughter still sleeps in the same bed (!). This will not happen with Jack. It will take a while for this transition though.
We are still keeping the lad, so people can stop sending inquiries about adopting the cute little button.

Jack gets a Golden Gate Park Visit from Lori and Marnie:

Hipped to solid foods. Dad says, "Straight up, homey".

Mom tries to glam up Jack. To our astonishment, he pulls it off.

His attention wanes and he goes back to his sloppy man like ways soon after.

Non Jack report.
The big, big boat, The Queen Mary TWO landed in SF a week or so ago. Right on my work's doorstep:

They locked up the poor ship for being too darn large.

Oh boy.

Kitty makes sweet love to my shoe.
