January is here

And Jack is starting to find other interests. He wants to be over there...now how to go about it? He's schooches, then falls over. Crawling is on the horizon.

He is still learning...but making a sort of progress.
He gets in the crawling position, then retrogrades away from you.

Hair, however, remains fascinating.

Cavorting naked underneath a picture of multiple Krishna's. There's something to be said for it.

Rock on, sweet baby!

Solid food becomes interesting...as a fashion accessory.

Sideline: no baby in the below pictures. I took a day off and wandered up to Marin with Captain Cardhouse. We went to the San Quentin Gift Shop, the Bay Model, Sausalito and the always chipper Golden Gate Bridge. Mr. House should have many San Quentin pictures up at his website or his flickr site soon(www.cardhouse.com) with funnee captions and etc.

Sherman Island.

Yeah, the bitches. Our water, dudes.

Fun for the kids. Ho boy.

Purty.

Jack is progressing faster than his daddy, who only began crawling at about 20 months. Whoo! The lad seems larger every time we see a new series of photos. Keep those pictures coming. We check the site almost every day in the mostly forlorn hope that a new series of pictures will have been posted.

I hate to dispute that crawling thing...especially since I was really young and can't remember that far back. But not crawling at 20 months seems off by ALOT. Not walking til 20 months - sure. Crawling though? Did you visit a doctor about that? Typically, babies start crawling after 8 months - sometimes even before 5 months! Some kids bypass crawling almost entirely - but they start walking by 15 months. Also, some kids use alternate ways of locomotion - rolling, scooching, etc. If I wasn't doing any of that after a year, then you really should have taken me to a doctor.

Wow, I was gonna say, 20months seems like a big delay! I thought you were one of my smarter cousins!
